Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a talented UAS Unmanned Aircraft Systems Analyst to join our Dayton, Ohio office. We have offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, LDS provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
In this role you will perform all-source intelligence analysis of foreign threat systems with a focus on fixed wing, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) / Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).
You will discover and exploit all available sources of technical information to develop detailed system and subsystem performance assessments.
Analysis activities will include flight performance analysis, analysis of on-board sensors and components, communication capability assessments, and analysis of ground support equipment.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, Associate’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a HS diploma / GED with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
Must have experience or expertise relating to UAV / UAS systems or subsystems, either :
Relating to UAV / UAS research and development, design, and / or flight testing.
UAV / UAS operations, including aircraft, control station, payloads, communications, and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
Experience performing analysis for the Scientific and Technical Intelligence community (NASIC, MSIC, ONI, NGIC) or other intelligence agencies is preferred.
Must have strong written communication skills, possess good people skills, demonstrate strong attention to detail and have the desire to work on a highly focused technical team of engineers, analysts, and scientists.
Must be a resident of the Dayton, OH area or be willing to relocate to the Dayton, OH area.
Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) TS / SCI Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
A degree or formal training in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, tactical UAS operations, or a closely related technical field is preferred.
Experience performing analysis for the Scientific and Technical Intelligence community (NASIC, MSIC, ONI, NGIC) or other intelligence agencies is preferred.

Pay Range :
Pay Range $65,000.00 - $117,500.00
