Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities :
- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with medical procedures
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Conduct basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
- Assist with patient education and provide support and guidance to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems
- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers
- Handle medical administrative support tasks such as answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and handling insurance documentation
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
Qualifications :
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy
