Responsibilities : Install and repair various types of raceway and cable tray systems electrical equipment and fixturesTroubleshoot motor and control systemsPerform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systemsAdhere to all quality and safety codesWorked with all types of Rigid Metal Conduit' RMC and IMC to include the following : Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT), Electrical Non-Metallic Tubing (ENT), Flexible Metal Conduit (FMC and LFMC).
Rigid PVC ConduitKnowledge of NEC a plusFamiliarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, electrical equipment and hand tools and manualsQualifications : In-depth knowledge of building codes and laws in your areaPerform tests and use the results to diagnose problems for example, when an outlet is not working, using a multimeter to check the voltage, amperage, or resistance to resolve the appropriate course of actionHave all of the tools of your trade on hand and be able to bring them to your jobsite Must have a currentOregon General Journeyman License or a reciprocating license for the State of Oregon.
