Aviation Technical Records Specialist

The MaintenanceControllerAdministrator is a full time position.This person is appointed by LTA Research and Exploration to work with the Maintenance Controller Manager to implement and manage the digitalization of Maintenance Records and Scheduling.

Their responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Controller with the following responsibilities, including :
• Digitalization of Maintenance Records, and Maintenance Program Tracking
• Oversight of aircraft maintenance status control
• Coordination of deferrals as per the approved MEL
• Verification that all Company aircraft adhere to the General Maintenance Manual and relevant Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Programs
• Collaboration with company flight crews during regular operations to manage unscheduled maintenance issues
• Communication of aircraft status changes to Flight Test, Program Management, and other pertinent stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with Company procedures and applicable FARs for each aircraft returning to service
• Liaison with the Director of Maintenance concerning Company maintenance policies and procedures
• Guaranteeing adherence to maintenance and inspection standards outlined in the company procedures, with thorough completion of all maintenance records, reports, and release forms before service resumption
• Proper execution and recording of all inspections, with final approval for return to service
• Fulfilling the duties of MCC while maintaining FAR complianceFulfillment of other assigned duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P license (Minimum 5 years experience)
• Extensive experience with Maintenance Tracking Software (preferably FlightDocs)
• Experience with converting and digitizing Maintenance Records.
