CommuniCare's Healthcare Campus at Salem is currently recruiting a compassionate leader to assume the position of Executive Director of the Campus with responsibility for the campus' two buildings, each with 90 beds, Salem West Healthcare Center and Salem North Healthcare Center.
The position of Executive Director provides leadership to all staff to assure that care standards are met and the highest degree of quality resident care is provided at all times.
The position must function as a team member, team leader, and supervisor to ensure that work is accomplished and quality care is delivered, supporting team members and leading the way in celebrating team successes.
The Executive Director has the authority, responsibility, and accountability for the overall operation and financial success of the center.
The ideal candidate for the Executive Director position will meet all state requirements for a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and will be currently licensed as an LNHA in the state of Ohio.
The individual’s professional experience should include at least two years of gradually increasing management responsibility with a minimum of an AIT internship completed.
The position of Executive Director is a full time salaried position. Salem West Healthcare Center, in coordination with CommuniCare Health Services, offers a warm and friendly work environment, competitive salaries, and PTO plans.

Qualified candidates must have :
- Must meet all Ohio State requirements for Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
- Must be currently working as a licensed Administrator.
- Must hold a currently valid LNHA license in the State of Ohio.
- Strong management and operation skills.
- Strong math / budgetary skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
