Job Description

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol - Full Time in Saint Petersburg, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will be an integral part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, working together to create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone on site. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to provide assistance and information as needed.
  • Document all activities, observations, and incidents according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Remain alert and aware of surroundings while patrolling technology, media, and telecommunications environments, adapting to varying working conditions as required by the site.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
