GovCIO is seeking a Sr. Contracts Administrator to join our team-oriented, customer-focused Contracts Department. GovCIO is a full-service information technology and enterprise service management provider.

Responsibilities

Perform full lifecycle contract administration and acquisition response activities supporting GovCIO's National Security Sector, a portfolio focused on business held with various Department of Defense agencies.

This position will be fully remote within the United States.

Maintain contract administration responsibility over an assigned portfolio of projects. Prepare and disseminate information regarding contract status, compliance, modification, deviation, and negotiation.

Prepare and process specification, progress, and other reports. Advise management of contractual rights and obligations.

Compile and analyze data, as well as maintain contractual files and historical information.

Administer and support negotiation of standard and nonstandard contracts, to include examination of requirements, analysis of terms and conditions, and evaluation of risk.

Support acquisition activities, to include assessment of requirements, proposal preparation, and submissions. Draft, issue, review, and maintain contractual instruments such as Non-Disclosure, Teaming, and Subcontract Agreements.

Regularly interface with internal and external stakeholders regarding contract administration, proposal, and business needs, providing for proper and timely fulfillment of assigned duties.

  • Monitor and administer contracts for conformance with requirements. Maintain review to ensure that terms and conditions are being met, and that contracts are operating & delivering in accordance with contractual specifications, legal requirements, and government regulations, to specifically include applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) clauses.
  • Administer and analyze contracts, requirements, special provisions, and terms & conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies and business unit procedures.
  • Review solicitations and support responses for proposals and associated contract acquisition activities.
  • Draft and negotiate contractual instruments commensurate with skills and grade level.
  • Interface with internal and external representatives on issues and developments relative to assigned contracts and tasks.
  • Prepare, process, organize and maintain contractual actions, records, and files documenting performance and compliance.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience :

Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5-8 years of prior relevant experience or Master's with 3+ years of prior relevant experience.

Additional years of relevant experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.

  • Experience in government contracting and related functions with particular emphasis on acquisitions, contract administration, negotiation, and performance management.
  • Experience withAdministration of government contracts issued by Department of Defense agencies.
  • Preparation, review, analysis, and negotiation of contractual documentation and instruments.
  • Communication and interface with government contracting office personnel regarding matters of contract administration.
  • Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR).
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships internally and externally.
  • Comfortable working with executives and representing functional plans and priorities to senior leaders.

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.

The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process.

If hired, employee will be in an at-will position and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department / team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $100,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 / Yr.
