Job Overview : The Floor Manager will oversee the daily operations of the bar floor, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient service, and a positive work environment.
This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a keen understanding of cocktail culture.
Key Responsibilities :
- Guest Experience : Ensure a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with guests, addressing concerns, and maintaining high service standards.
- Staff Management : Supervise and train bar staff, including bartenders and servers, ensuring adherence to service protocols and cocktail preparation standards.
- Inventory Control : Assist with inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and tracking supplies to maintain optimal bar operations.
- Shift Coordination : Manage daily shift operations, including staff schedules, workflow, and coverage during peak hours.
- Quality Assurance : Monitor the quality of beverages and service, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
- Sales and Promotions : Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement promotional strategies to increase sales and attract new customers.
- Health and Safety : Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation practices and safe alcohol service.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and bar operations.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
