A prestigious law firm located in Doral, FL, is seeking a highly motivated Immigration Attorney with experience in USCIS and USCIS-related immigration cases.
Conducting consultations with potential new clients and collaborating closely with the firm’s attorneys and paralegals. This role requires a strong commitment to client service and effective project management skills, as the attorney will handle complex immigration matters while meeting tight deadlines.
Duties :
- Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions to clients.
- Manage a diverse workload of immigration cases, ensuring timely preparation of applications.
- Prepare various immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions.
- Review and adjust immigration applications / packets as needed.
- Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community organizations regarding changes in immigration law.
- Conduct strategic consultations with potential clients to determine necessary strategies.
- Develop and prepare clients and witnesses for USCIS interviews.
- Provide legal analysis to identify potential benefits for clients’ cases.
- Prepare and submit legal briefs for a variety of immigration matters.
- Coordinate legal strategies with team members and manage case filings.
- Research unique legal issues and stay updated on relevant legislative changes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by firm partners.
Requirements :
- J.D. from an ABA Accredited Law School (required).
- Active Bar License in Good Standing from any U.S. State or territory (DC, Puerto Rico).
- Fluent in Spanish (required).
- 1-4 years of Immigration Experience.
Education :
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
