What you will be doing : You’ll be responsible for the new students coming to the center. They will coordinate and instruct the career preparation period for all incumbent students.

Essential functions :

  • Plan, coordinate and conduct the CP program and other activities and lessons by using a variety of teaching strategies to meet student learning needs.
  • Recommend an appropriate training program for each assigned student using background files, personal interviews, tests, and other assessment tools.
  • Provide students with employment, career training, personal and social adjustment counseling on an individual and group basis.
  • Continuously evaluate individual student’s attitudes, participation, and commitment in career preparation program, intervene when inappropriate behaviors are observed.
  • Maintain documentation and training records for each student.

Education and Experience Requirements :

  • High School Diploma and 2 years experience.
  • Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency required.
  • A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record
