The Advertising Specialist I is responsible for assisting the Creative Director in all aspects of advertising projects, campaigns, direct mail creative, digital and traditional media various programs for the property;

and ensuring branding standards are upheld throughout all campaigns and advertising efforts while embodying our core values of compassion, hard work, harmony, honesty, and loyalty.

This position is Shared Services and has responsibilities at Resorts World New York City, Resorts World Catskills, and Resorts World Hudson Valley.

This position requires appropriate licensing for all properties.

Essential Duties

  • Act as a liaison between the creative team and internal stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction through empathetic interactions.
  • Address stakeholder concerns with sensitivity and professionalism, aiming for mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Coordinate project deliverables with outside vendors, aligning them with company objectives.
  • Assist in initiating, placing, and overseeing advertising projects requested from various Resorts World properties with dedication and diligence.
  • Assist in tracking all aspects of the creative process and maintaining an accurate log of job progression.
  • Foster collaboration and teamwork by maintaining positive relationships with the internal advertising team, Resorts World properties, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitate smooth communication and cooperation with Resorts World properties and partners throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Uphold transparency and integrity in all communications and actions related to advertising projects and campaigns.
  • Aid in the development of deliverable materials for media campaigns, ensuring they align with the company's values and objectives.
  • Ensure that all advertising materials and campaigns adhere to ethical and legal standards, including compliance with industry regulations and guidelines.
  • Support front-line requestors and client teams by providing timely and accurate information, ensuring that advertising content and messaging are aligned with brand standards and objectives.
  • Uphold company policies, procedures, and internal controls, promoting a culture of compliance and accountability within the advertising team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lifting or maneuvering at least thirty (30) pounds, and varied instances of standing / walking.

Language Skills :

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents.

Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests. Fluency in English required, second language a plus.

Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.

Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability :

Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. Ability to decipher various reports and maintain reports upon request.

The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate. When on the casino, kitchen, restaurant or property floor or some back of house areas, the noise level increases to loud.

Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.

Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality / entertainment industry, Team Members must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

Work / Educational Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school or equivalent diploma and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the New York State Lottery regulations.
  • Two (2) years' related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the gaming or hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with project management software or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proven experience in advertising trafficking or project management.

Salary Range : $52,400.00 to $78,500.00 USD
