Job Summary
Full Time; Mon Friday 8 - 5
Manages the daily operations and team members of HealthQuest. Coordinates all fundraising activities and secures grants for financial sustainability, as well as proper acknowledgements and donor stewardship.
Promotes and educates the general public on the services the organization provides and how this benefits the community. Strives to improve processes and collaborations within the community.
Maintains the integrity of the organization and while ensuring the mission & policies of both are followed on a daily basis.
Seeks out educational resources and conferences for continued performance improvement. Reports to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors on a monthly basis.
Essential Functions
- Oversees team members in their job responsibilities and manages the organization.
- Executes all grant writing and fund development activities.
- Oversees all donor stewardship activities.
- Works with the treasury and finance committees in the development and management of the HealthQuest budget.
- Oversees all planning sessions with all departments and the Board of Directors.
- Serves as an advocate for HealthQuest in building external relationships.
Physical Requirements
Requires lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, stooping, walking and frequent changes in position with extended periods of sitting.
Subject to heavy workloads and compressed time frames.
Education, Experience and Certifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare or other human services-related field required. Coursework completion in nonprofit leadership, essential concepts and best practices is preferred.
Supervisory experience preferred. Three to five years of sophisticated senior level management experience in a non-profit agency, community-based organization, and / or other human service setting is desired.
Strong non-profit technical skills including budgeting, fiscal management, grant writing / management, fund raising, board development, and program impact management.
Strong fundraising skills including proven history of grant writing, corporate and individual solicitations. Strong marketing, public relations, and fundraising experience with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders and cultures.
Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach, inspire, and manage staff and volunteers, develop high-performance teams, set, and achieve strategic program objectives, and manage a budget.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and enthusiastic communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills.
Strong computer skills including knowledge of Office 365, QuickBooks and Windows applications.
