We're supporting a global automotive supplier in their search for a Strategic Buyer to support direct purchasing activities for their production facility in Kentucky.
Role :
- Identify potential new vendors
- Develop cost reduction strategies
- Purchase direct parts for production
- Build and nourish supplier relationships
- Track current orders and resolve supplier issues
- Work alongside the engineering and R&D teams to ensure material specifications align with supplier parameters
- Review service contracts
Requirements :
- 1-3+ years purchasing experience
- Experience purchasing direct commodities
- Experience working within the automotive industry

- Knowledge of injection moulding processes
