Manufacturing Laboratory Technician

Shift

Full Time, Mon-Thurs. 5 : 30am-4 : 00pm

The primary purpose of this position is to produce and package Artificial Test Soils (ATS) and assist with our manufacturing production team as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL DO :

• Follow all applicable procedures, work instructions, and policies.
• Cleaning workstations and Equipment.
• Ingredient Grinding & Sieving
• Weighing and mixing finished products
• Proper Label Handling.
• Packaging Preparation and Filling
• Proper paperwork handling.
• Assist with production set-up and operation
• All other duties as deemed necessary.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS :

• High School Diploma or GED.
• High School Chemistry with lab or college chemistry lab or 1 year using a scale as a primary job responsibility.
• Ability to read and understand written and verbal job instructions and procedures.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Skill and proficiency in using personal computer software programs including word processing, spreadsheet application.
• Good organizational skills.
• Basic Math skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Experience with lab equipment. (scale, glassware)
• Employees must be able to perform all tasks listed.
• Tasks must be completed in an efficient and time sensitive manner.
• Must be comfortable operating manufacturing and packaging equipment.

Able to bend, stoop and lift overhead.

Available to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Able to lift 30 lbs. unassisted.

Able to sit or stand for longer periods of time.

EQUIPMENT USED :

Computer, Label Printer, Copier, sieve shaker, ball mill, scale, simple production machinery, pipettes, heat sealer, mixing equipment.
