SUMMARY : Summary : Responsible for interviewing, testing, and referring applicants for clerical, technical, administrative and management positions at the Corporate office throughout the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Other duties may be assigned by the Director of Talent.
Possesses skills in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions in the company, a basic understanding of company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices;
Confers with Director of Talent to identify personnel needs, workforce planning strategies, and search assignments.
- Reviews resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
- Interviews all candidates presented for detailed interviewing by hiring managers and includes the use of face-to-face behavioral-based interviewing methodologies.
- Researches and recommends new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
- Administers the online career center and utilizes various internet and electronic tools to attract talent.
- Serves as an administrator of the Applicant Tracking System and related software.
- Networks through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees to help identify and source qualified leaders.
- Develops an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as succession planning needs dictate.
- Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure a safe and thorough audit if required.
- Performs further background reference investigation, prior employment references, transcripts, etc. to gain adequate information on which to base a selection decision.
- Extends offers of employment to selected candidates under the direction of the Director of Talent and within the guidelines of company compensation policy.
- Is able to inform applicants of benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leaves of absence, and employee assistance;
- Builds a professional relationship with customers, employees, and staff.
- Writes complete and detailed job descriptions and search assignments ensuring an understanding of job duties responsibilities and business requirements;
- Places employment ads utilizing various media; includes researching and negotiating advertising contracts;
- Assists HR Director with projects related to performance talent management, succession planning and retention.
- Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying and collating.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Must be able to travel up to 35% of the time.EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE : At least three to five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.
Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.Associates degree or equivalent educations in HR or related field.
LANGUAGE SKILLS : Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations using the English language.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
