Job Details

We are currently seeking an exceptional candidate to fill the role of Human Resources Director for our esteemed legal firm.

This role is a unique opportunity to lead and shape the human resources function of our organization. The Human Resources Director will be a strategic leader, working closely with our executive team to develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that align with our firm's goals and values.

This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in human resources leadership within the legal industry.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy of our legal firm.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process by identifying talent, conducting interviews, and overseeing the hiring process to ensure we attract and retain the best talent.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  • Nurture a positive working environment by building and promoting a strong company culture.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management by keeping abreast of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and enforcing adherence to requirements.

Qualifications :

  • Proven working experience as an HR Director or similar role in a legal or law firm environment.
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics and knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Relevant HR certification would be a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated capacity to build, inspire, and retain a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to serve as a key interface at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-informed decisions.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
