Job Summary
The Assisted Living (AL) Coordinator will be responsible to perform clerical, reception, and communication duties and to attend to the nursing station at the Freeman Regional Assisted Living (formerly Salem Mennonite Home).
The AL Coordinator will :
- Work cooperatively with other members of the Assisted Living team and residents.
- Perform clerical functions for the Assisted Living team, specifically nursing and administration.
- Support and monitor employee education.
- Schedule resident appointments and transportation.
Applicants must be able to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relationships, work in a team setting, and provide excellent customer service.
Work Schedule
Full-time. Monday-Friday. Daytime hours. Flexible with accommodating a shift start time between 7 : 30-8 : 30am. 80 hours per pay period (benefits eligible), 40 hours per week.
Education and / or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree required.
- Experience and enjoyment working with older adults preferred.
- Must be organized and efficient with the ability to multitask.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications preferred.
- Willingness to become a Nurse Assistant.
