The Senior Specialist Talent Acquisition will be a key driver in the recruitment process, ensuring that we attract and hire top-tier talent while providing a superior candidate and hiring manager experience.
This role involves strategic collaboration with department heads and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, develop targeted recruitment plans, and manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, consultative, and results-driven problem solver with a proven track record of success in talent acquisition.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
Talent Sourcing & Recruitment : Consult with hiring managers on expectations, challenges, and process improvements. Utilize a variety of digital platform and direct outreach sourcing methods to actively engage top talent.
Lead strategic weekly calls with hiring leaders and HR partners to review candidate and requisition status and refine sourcing strategies.
- Partnership & Collaboration : Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, hiring managers, HR partners, and vendors to ensure a successful and credible recruitment process.
- Full Lifecycle Recruitment : Drive forward progress on all stages of the recruitment lifecycle including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, screening, interviewing, and onboarding, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
- Candidate Experience : Create an exceptional candidate experience by managing communication, coordinating interviews, and working with hiring managers to extend offers in line with compensation policies.
- Strategic Workforce Planning : Partner with leaders to forecast and analyze talent needs for short-term and long-term hiring.
- Sourcing Strategies : Develop proactive strategies to fill hard-to-fill or niche positions, including building and nurturing a pipeline of candidates by creating compelling talent marketing content and promoting our employee value proposition.
- Talent Acquisition Improvement : Contribute to the improvement of the Talent Acquisition team’s processes by engaging in continuous learning and mentoring team members.
- Compensation & Offers : Work with hiring leaders and total rewards / business partners to determine competitive and equitable salary offers and guide pay recommendations for promotions and transfers.
- Special Projects : Drive and manage special projects by collaborating across the organization and ensuring successful outcomes.
- DE&I & Compliance : Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and ensure compliance with Affirmative Action recruiting requirements.
Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all recruiting activities.
Show your expertise
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelors degree + 3 years of talent acquisition experience or 6 years of experience, 3 of which must be in a talent acquisition environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.) required. Intermediate Excel skills preferred
- Multi-state recruiting experience required
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and candidate sourcing platforms required
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder management, building professional relationships, and influencing stakeholders
- Demonstrated success with problem solving
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment and appropriately prioritize responsibilities while effectively handling multiple, concurrent demands
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized, meticulous about detail and accuracy, and excited about process improvement
- Service mentality and excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a changing work environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a moderate level of guidance
- Ability to handle the physical and mental requirements of a typical workweek, with flexibility for occasional overtime to support project deadlines and business objectives.
