Computer Repair Technician Job Details :

1st Shift Hours : 9 AM - 6 PM, Monday-Friday

Pay : $15 / hr

Essential tasks :

  • Review customer requests and identify details of equipment issues to be resolved.
  • Disassemble machines to examine parts for wear or defects, using hand or power tools and measuring devices; Reassemble machines after making repairs or replacing parts.
  • Conduct diagnosis of issues according to customer specifications.
  • Communicate with or perform rework to ensure successful and efficient repair of units.
  • Repair laptop or desktop units according to requirements, using hand or power tools and measuring devices.
  • Analyze equipment performance and assess equipment functioning.
  • Clean or adjust mechanical parts to maintain machines' operating efficiency and to prevent breakdowns or repeat returns for repair.
  • Read and research specifications, such as blueprints, charts, or schematics, to determine machine settings or adjustments.
  • Maintain repair parts inventories and place orders for any additional parts needed for repairs.

Requirements : High School Diploma or equivalent, 1+ years of related experience, familiar with Lenovo, Dell, HP, desktop, Chromebook, PC, tablets, and hand power tools, and able to lift up to 20 pounds.
