Organizational Design, Change, and Process Improvement Specialist

That's why we’re looking for a consultant like you who can help identify long-term goals and support the design of the processes and structures needed to achieve them.

This is an opportunity to create effectiveness for the Space clients. As an Organizational Design, Change, or Process Improvement practitioner, you’ll use your expertise to assess how changes will impact business design and processes to drive organizational strategy.

From unrealized potential to systemic challenges, you’ll provide your client with a holistic view of their organization to transform their practices for the better.

Your work will drive improvements to current Space capabilities through process standardization, innovative technical solutions, and improved service quality, while also unearthing new areas for optimization.

You also may have dedicated leadership responsibilities, including unearthing new areas for optimization. These areas may sometimes be clear and other times opaque.

It may be your job to connect with the right internal parties, drive capture progress, manage and report out on the pipeline, and execute sales that generate net new revenue.

This will involve frequent client engagement in addition to firm-internal capability demonstrations to create demand within existing teams.

Finally, you will be responsible for standing up a new team, establishing a unique culture to include social connectedness both within and across team geographies, and driving both functional eminence and Space domain knowledge among staff.

Team members may be junior or senior, with or without military experience, and from varying backgrounds. Your job will be to ensure each team member lives our values and delivers the same level of excellence Booz Allen is known for.

You Have :

  • 2+ years of experience leveraging fundamental models and frameworks to deliver organizational design, change management, or process improvement capabilities
  • 1+ year of experience facilitating organizational design, change management, or process improvement client-facing workshops
  • Ability to work up to five days per week in El Segundo, CA
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice if you Have :

  • Experience at a major consulting firm or with a defense contractor
  • Experience supporting business development efforts
  • Experience serving in, with, or as contract support to the Space Force, Air Force, NASA, or USSPACECOM
  • Knowledge of military applications of Space
  • Secret clearance or higher
  • Master's degree
  • Organizational design, change management, or process improvement certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
