If this sounds appealing to you, then consider our Senior Project Manager Water Group opportunity. The position is based in Austin, TX .
Successful candidates will be responsible for providing technical, management, and staff support for a variety of infrastructure-related projects, primarily involving the planning and design of water / wastewater / stormwater pipelines, treatment facilities, pump stations, and storage facilities.
Candidates should be skilled in managing multiple priorities, organizing time and projects, tracking budgets and meeting deadlines.
Your Role :
- Lead and manage the execution of projects from conceptual planning phases through final design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Maintain existing client relationships and help develop new client and project opportunities.
- Ensure technical accuracy, standard engineering practices and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects.
- Evaluate alternatives, resolve technical issues, and interface with other disciplines.
- Provide construction support services. Perform engineering interpretation of specifications and drawings, recommending and documenting design modifications, and coordinating with the design team.
- Make independent assessment of engineering problems and recommend solutions to engineering discipline leads, resolve questions, plan, coordinate, and execute work in a safe, timely, cost effective and compliant manner.
- Achieve financial targets in relation to project profitability and utilization.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Civil or Environmental Engineering in Texas, or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
- 10+ years of related experience.
- Experience in technical project execution and in writing and pricing scopes of work for proposals.
- Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
- This position could require periodic travel, approximately 15% or more
