Senior Accounting Analyst

There are 2 positions available.

This position is responsible for continuous improvement efforts and projects as well as preparing statutory quarterly and annual reporting.

This role reports to a Senior Accounting Manager.

Position Compensation Range :

$76,000.00 - $125,000.00

Primary Accountabilities

• Prepares schedules, exhibits and footnotes for the quarterly and annual statutory statements.
• Prepares ledger adjustments and reconciliations in accordance with company policies and internal controls.
• Ensures timeliness and accuracy of all financial statements through high-level financial analysis and coordination with transaction processing units.
• Develops extensive knowledge of statutory accounting principles.
• Proactively identifies and aids in process improvement department initiatives based on best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
• Demonstrated experience in communicating financial information.
• Demonstrated experience managing / leading projects.
• Knowledge and understanding of, and demonstrated experience utilizing, concepts related to accounting and accounting systems.
• Demonstrated experience with spreadsheets utilizing complex functions and formulas.
• Knowledge and understanding of financial reporting, financial analysis, budget and forecasting techniques or internal controls.

Travel Requirements

Up to 5%.

Prefer candidates who have experience with financial reporting.

Location information :

In this flex office / home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations : Madison, WI 53783 or Boston, MA 02110.
