GENERAL PURPOSE : The Day Treatment Program Director under the direction of the Superintendent and in coordination with the School Leaders, as applicable, will develop, organize, and administer behavior and mental health support services offered in the Lighthouse Academy day treatment programs.

The Day Treatment Program Director will provide shared supervision to the Behavior Interventionists and clinicians / school social workers and help develop behavior intervention plans and program monitoring of their caseloads.
The director will also assist in developing behavioral intervention programs for students in addition to developing research-based programs in light of student needs.
The Day Treatment Program Director will subscribe to the vision, mission and values of Integrity Educational Services and Lighthouse Academy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Ensure appropriate student assessment methods are implemented and utilized with fidelity.
- Design and implement individual treatment and behavior support plans for students in day treatment.
- Provide oversight and supervision of assigned behavior interventionists.
- Work closely with student treatment teams to ensure a safe, high quality therapeutic environment is consistently maintained.
- Lead, along with other day treatment leadership and the superintendent, continuous improvement and development for day treatment programming.
- Oversee weekly team meetings to coordinate care, communicate student needs and progress, and ensure consistent and quality care.
- Communicate with referral sources and guardians, keeping them informed of education and treatment goals, plans and progress.
- Ensure documentation meets the standards adopted.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications related to education, treatment, and the students served.
- Perform all other duties, as assigned.
Required Education and / or Experience : Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or closely related field and a minimum of five plus years of experience in mental and / or behavioral healthcare.
Position requires a BCBA, LMSW, MSW or LPCC.
