Summary
The Manager, Air Logistics & Supply position will be responsible for managing the overall air import and export daily operations.
The incumbent will have and maintain high level interface directly with customers on a regular basis, develop logistics solutions that can reduce costs, improve service levels, and have the ability to build strong relationships to drive the business.
Compensation
$94,000- $105,000 Per Year ( Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and continuously enhance air freight forwarding operational procedures (import and export) Strategic operational planning and execution for the operation Lead negotiation of rates and contracts with air carriers Review, address, supervise, develop and manage performance for carrier and maintain a positive relations environment at assigned account(s) Collaborate with sales functions to execute business plan targets Oversee compliance with TSA, Customs, laws and regulations for importing and exporting Own, contract and manage the relationships with subset of logistics service providers Coordinate and follow up on daily Inbound and outbound shipment till delivered Prepare and consolidate regular reports for management review Ensure that all issues related to service failures are followed up on and corrective action implemented Lead, coach, enforce, empower and direct reports to perform and achieve in line with Company values and strategy, and team goals adhering to Company SOP and policies
- Prepare FF month end, Support Finance / accounting Dept. for invoice, inquiries, aging, and reconciliation Manage and monitor the profit and loss statements based on the complexity and scope of the organization Supervise and process all A / R and A / P billing process within facility Continuous improvements of warehouse operations New project support for Dept. as needed
- Other duties as assigned (New project support) Accomplishes top management mission by completing related results as needed New project support for 3PL Dept.as needed

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- 7 - 10 Years of Experience in Air Freight Logistics Required
- 8-13 Years of Experience in Supply Chain Management Preferred
- 1 - 3 Years of Supervisory Experience Required
- 4-7 Years of Supervisory Experience Preferred
