Summary
This position will provide customer service and monitor inbound / outbound shipment traffics regarding transportation of 3PL customers with ocean, air and in-land transportation
Responsibilities
- Provide in / outbound operations services Provide in / outbound operations services covering ocean in / outbound Populate and update systems and track shipments Monitor and support container moves on ocean and inland (rail and truck routes) freight Prepare required shipping documents including BLs, PODs, commercial invoices, etc Develop knowledge of all modes of transportation
- Coordinate with customers regarding inquiries Handle customer shipment routing requests, and assign approved service provider for transportation based on carrier matrix and other factors Provide delivery updates and history as requested by customer Promptly answer to customer via email and phone
- Billing (cost saving management - detention, demurrage, etc) Ensure all charges are billed correctly including : detention / demurrage / pre-pull / port open charges Prepare required documents including commercial invoices, etc
- Monitor urgent shipment container / trucking moves Monitor inbound containers for timely release Ensure carrier compliance with customer requirements
- Other duties is assigned
Compensation Range
$44,000 - $52,000 / Annually (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Education & Experience
- High School Diploma / G.E.D Required
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
- 1 year of experience in Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Carriers Required

- Ability to sit in front of a desk and / or in front of the computer for long periods
- Repetitive use of hand / grasping product, writing, and typing
- Stand / walk
