Our client, a hedge fund is seeking a Research Assistant to add to their team in NYC. This is an administrative role that will support 1-2 Portfolio Managers and their teams.
Once up to speed on the administrative tasks, corporate access and other projects will be passed along as well! Hours are 8 / 8 : 30am-5 : 30 / 6pm.
They are currently in office 5 days a week.
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate high volumes of internal and external meetings, and develop relationships with broker sales teams
- Calendar planning, including screening for conflicts and logging meeting details in database
- Collect and organize research reports, and process all expense reports
- Liaise internally to organize new hire training schedules and assist with onboarding
- Perform special projects for teams including supporting corporate access responsibilities and participating in weekly business meetings
- Book travel arrangements including flights, hotels, and other transportation
Qualifications :
- Must have experience supporting a team of 10+
- 2-4+ years of admin experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- Previous experience working in a hedge fund required
Compensation / Benefits :
- Up to $80-120K base plus paid overtime
