Manufacturing Supervisor
This is a first shift (Monday through Friday) 6AM- 2 : 30PM
Experience / job requirements :
Work Experience :
1. 3-5+ years’ experience in semiconductor capital equipment or related industry highly
preferred.
2. Working knowledge of quick-turn, engineer-to-order environment desired.
3. Prior experience in cycle time, yield, or cost improvement projects desired.
4. 5-7+ years supervisory experience in high-technology manufacturing required.
- Assigns and directs daily work assignments of department staff members
- Meets daily production and quality goals
- Responsible for providing personnel with communication, expectations, and tools to do their jobs in a manner that results in a positive, efficient, safe and high quality workplace for all.
- Communicate, maintain, and monitor quality and productivity standards
- Responsible for materials being used in production, adherence to manufacturing statements, reviewing specifications, and being aware of any updates, corrections, and / or changes to being made to standard
- Responsible for managing of production lines and respective personnel
- Responsible for proper documentation from production area
- Previous experience in high-purity assembly and semiconductor operations a plus.
- Experienced in working with very tight tolerances and measurement equipment.
- Good previous job stability for the past 6 months.
- Experience working in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery
- Primary job duties are to perform a variety of routine operations supporting the process of ultra-high purity gas stick and panel assemblies
- Physical Demands :
- 1. Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, and grasp.
2. Ability to stand for sustained periods of time.
3. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
4. Ability to move arms, hands, and fingers.
5. Ability to Talk on phone and use computer for extended periods of time may be required.
6. Environmental Exposure :
7. Works in a manufacturing area, with some changes of temperature, as well as
throughout the premises.
8. Subject to hazards including electrical current, moving mechanical parts, exposure to
chemicals and debris.
9. Required to wear personal protective equipment where applicable.
10. May involve exposure to moderate noise levels from printers, faxes, computer etc
