Position Overview
- Our service advisors offer world-class customer service while acting as a liaison between our respected customers and our skilled and licensed technician team
- No prior service advisor experience necessary! Focused sessions with a Certified Trainer will be conducted periodically to help you succeed
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain necessary vehicle information
- Advise customers on necessary services, recalls, routine maintenance and other repairs needed
- Review service contract options and vehicle protection plans based on customer needs
- Prepare repair orders showing time, cost, and labor estimates
- Compose detailed descriptions of customer concerns on repair orders to familiarize technicians on work to perform
- Explain all diagnoses, work performed, and any repair order charges to the customer
- Help identify mechanical problems by carefully listening to customer concerns, doing visual inspections, and if needed, conducting road tests
- Answer incoming service calls, schedule service appointments, and always maintain excellent communication
- Follow our most important Core Value of Customer Service Above All Else to maintain manufacturer CSI scoring above industry average
