Payroll Clerk Overland Park, KS
LHH is partnering with a client in the Overland Park, KS area, who is seeking a Payroll Clerk. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Responsibilities :
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, including salaried, hourly, and contract workers.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, deductions, and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with all payroll-related laws and regulations.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and payments.
- Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Generate payroll reports and assist with audits as needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Schedule : Monday-Friday (8am-5pm)- fully onsite
- Compensation : $50-60,000 annually
- Job Type : Contract to Hire
- Benefits : PTO, Holiday Pay, 401K, Health, Dental, Vision, STD / LTD
Pay Details : $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
