What’s the job?
Open to a remote team member preferably on the east coast
- Provide Leadership, Direction and Support to Plant Managers and their leadership teams by setting performance expectations / goals, determine priorities and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in the development of the business strategy and lead the team in operationalizing these strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement in operating performance to achieve expectations for Safety, Quality and Service.
- Collaborate with TIP Director to set improvement objectives and drive Lean Six Sigma, WCM, Kaizen and 5S agenda.
- Coordinates the manufacturing locations for the various opportunities within the business. Decides the best location to manufacture based on the customer’s requirements for service, quality, cost, center of excellence, etc.
- Actively drives evolution in ways of working and business initiatives intended to increase employee engagement and retention.
- Key Leadership role on the SPG Leadership team requiring representation of the Operations function and collaborating effectively with functional leaders in all areas of the business.

What do you bring?
- Education Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline
- 10+ years of multi site leadership preferably in the manufacturing industry
- 10 years in Manufacturing and / or technical management with demonstrated success in execution of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analytical and strategic planning capabilities.
- Excellent Communication skills plus strong interpersonal and leadership / coaching skills required to develop and motivate a diverse workforce across multiple plants.
- Experience with MRP and QMS preferred.
- Travel up to 40% is required.
