Location : Dallas, TX Job Type : Full Time Compensation : $18 / hr Schedule M-F 9a-5pm and some Saturdays

As part of our dedicated team, the Warranty Administrator plays a crucial role in managing warranty claims and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The Warranty Administrator is responsible for managing and processing warranty claims, ensuring that all warranty work is accurately documented, and communicating with manufacturers regarding claim approvals.

This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair processes, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

The Warranty Administrator serves as a liaison between the dealership, customers, and manufacturers to ensure a smooth and timely resolution of warranty claims.

Responsibilities :

1. Warranty / Extended Warranty Claims Processing :

• Accurately and efficiently process warranty claims for automotive services and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer and dealership warranty guidelines.

2. Documentation and Record Keeping :

• Maintain detailed and organized records of warranty claims, including supporting documentation and communication.
• Track warranty claim statuses and follow up as needed to expedite resolution.

3. Communication and Collaboration :

• Collaborate with service advisors, technicians, and parts departments to gather necessary information for warranty claims.
• Communicate effectively with manufacturers and warranty administrators to facilitate timely resolution of claims.

4. Customer Interaction :

• Address customer inquiries related to warranty claims with professionalism and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Provide clear explanations of warranty coverage and processes to customers.

5. Quality Assurance :

• Conduct regular reviews of warranty claim submissions to identify and address errors or discrepancies.
• Implement continuous improvement measures to enhance the efficiency of the warranty process.

6. Training and Compliance :

• Stay informed about manufacturer warranty policies and updates.
• Provide training and guidance to service department staff on proper warranty documentation and procedures.

7. Reporting :

• Generate and analyze reports related to warranty claims, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Prepare regular reports for management on warranty claim performance.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in automotive technology or related field is a plus.
• Previous experience as a Warranty Administrator or in a similar role within an automotive dealership is preferred.
• Familiarity with warranty procedures and guidelines of major automotive manufacturers.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using computer software for data entry and record management.
