Description
To plan and execute meetings and events to support Exactech’s sales & marketing plans and achieve overall company results.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate regional and national surgeon meetings and events such as clinician and design team meetings, cadaver labs and surgeon roundtable meetings including agenda development assistance, site selection, logistical & hospitality arrangements and production and distribution of promotional materials & on-site materials.
- Assist as needed with Exactech’s tradeshows including registration, show services, inventory management, shipping and coordination of show materials.
- Collaborate with the International Marketing Team to coordinate medical education events including agenda development, logistical arrangements, events and VIP hosting.
- Coordinate registration, logistical and hospitality arrangements for international training and marketing events at Exactech.
- Interact with speakers and other VIP event participants. Ensure travel and accommodations arrangements are coordinated to provide the Exactech Experience.
- Serve as a key member of the events team for national sales and surgeon meetings and events.
- Know and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal and International Standards.
- Assist and support other employees, team, and sales personnel as necessary.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Education
High School Diploma or GED required. Associate and / or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution preferred
Experience
Minimum 1 year related event planning experience
Skills, Credentials, and Knowledge
- 1 year experience in Corporate Marketing or Public Relations department preferred.
- Organizational & interpersonal skill
- Detail Oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft applications. Event experience preferred.
- Up to 10-20% travel
