Staffmark is seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to join a dynamic team in El Segundo, CA. This is a Direct Hire position offering $95k - $115k annually.

Shift : 1st Shift

As a Senior Human Resources Generalist, you will report to the HR Manager and serve as a trusted consultant and coach within the organization.

This role will give you the opportunity to manage all aspects of human capital management, including employee relations, talent management, benefits, and recruitment, while also driving cross-functional initiatives and process improvements.

Responsibilities :

  • Administer HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave policies, performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee training
  • Maintain compliance with training programs and employee assessments
  • Facilitate recruitment and hiring for open positions
  • Conduct background checks and employment verifications
  • Oversee new hire orientations and employee recognition programs
  • Handle employee inquiries and assist with conflict resolution and disciplinary matters
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices
  • Stay current with HR trends, technology, and regulations
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification required
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role (knowledge of the Davis-Bacon Act preferred)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Paycom experience is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Solid knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
