Value Stream Manager - Dishwasher Assembly
New Bern, NC / Full-time
Your responsibilities
The Value Stream Manager directs and manages all aspects of the value stream or VS section connected with the employees and processes that are required to produce the product.
The role ensures that resources are in place and directed towards achieving the business requirements and operational excellence of the value stream.
This includes all aspects for the safety, quality, cost, and delivery of all products within the value stream.
- Defines Value Stream vision and strategy along with Factory Manager and department heads.
- Guides and directs the Value Stream and lead all activities within its value stream (VS objectives manager KPRs SQDC)
- Execution of top-down target setting KPIs for functional value stream members to ensure common alignment achievement of value stream business requirements
- Ensures and promotes regular monitoring of the Values Stream performance through transparent & digital information tools (e.
g. Shop floor-Management-Cycle, Daily management, daily leadership routines, System CIP meetings reviews, & quarterly System CIP workshops.
Manage the continuous improvement of its value stream (BPS, System CIP, etc.) with a holistic vision source / make / delivery.
Decide and prioritize agreements with departments in the System CIP cycle, next steps, and projects.
- Develop the Lean / BPS mind-set and maturity
- Schedule attainment through relative functions within respective value stream
- Attendance and staffing plans for complete value stream section within Business Planning and S&OP cycle.
- Drives the digitalization of the whole Value Stream towards the factory of the future.
- Aligns with disciplinary heads any relevant issues of VS members professional development (i.e. required trainings, EDDs, etc.)
- Leader and practitioner of safety processes and policies
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or similar business related field) Required
- 7-10 Years of Experience (Manufacturing experience) Required
- 7-10 Years of Experience (Full cycle operations experience) Required
- 5-7 Years of Experience (People Manager Experience) Required
- Manufacturing and non-manufacturing value stream transformations
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Effective organizational skills with successful prioritization and planning of tasks.
- Proven ability to create purpose, foster collaboration and adapt in a volatile environment
- Transformational leader, who is results-oriented and can set priorities, is innovative, wants to be challenged, and can also develop teams in a dynamic environment
- Lean methodologies

Your Pay & Benefits
The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location.
If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.
