The purpose of this position is to support the Office of the Director, Office of Federal Advisory Committee Policy (OFACP).

  • Provide technical knowledge and support in developing and evaluating the fellowship program, establishing processes and procedures, and maintaining files.
  • Review and analyze Federal Register notices, charters (establishments, renewals, terminations, amendments), nomination slates, letters, certificates of appreciation, and formal waivers.
  • Review and analyze required reports, including the Annual Comprehensive Review Report and Annual Closed Session Minutes Report.
  • Collect and review committee data.
  • Produce various detailed reports for use by upper management.
  • Write, edit, and prepare reports required to maintain accreditation of the program.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and other written materials.
  • Prepare reports in response to requests from ORF Divisions, NIH ICs, other agencies, and Congress.
  • Analyze and present selected program data to Branch and Center management staff.
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement the fellowship program, including the maintenance of files and documents; assess processes and procedures and recommend improvements where needed.
  • Utilize analytical skills to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the existing program.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to implement the recommended improvements to the program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Establish and maintain organized files and documents related to the program, including program plans, participant information, progress reports, and evaluation results.
  • Analyze, develop, and implement new recruiting processes and a variety of training programs.
  • Assess existing recruiting processes to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
  • Utilize analytical skills to design innovative and efficient recruiting strategies tailored to organizational needs.
  • Execute the newly developed processes, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and procedures.
  • Develop comprehensive training programs for recruiters and hiring managers, incorporating best practices and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to recruitment and training, ensuring compliance and minimizing legal risks.
  • Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while also identifying opportunities for improvement and suggesting updates as needed.
