PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES OF POSITION
The Food and Beverage Manager plays a crucial role within the Food and Beverage team, responsible for meeting or exceeding the hotel's service standards and revenue targets across all outlets.
This position demands a strong commitment to providing exceptional guest service, with duties extending to restaurants, bars, and room service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in preparing daily and weekly payroll and schedules.
- Support in scheduling and conducting monthly departmental meetings.
- Complete assigned projects in a timely manner.
- Help manage inventory and approve requisitions.
- Aid in maintaining POS systems and updating product pricing.
- Contribute to ensuring exceptional guest service while upholding Langham standards.
- Address guest requests and resolve complaints.
- Foster creativity within the team regarding Food & Beverage menus.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
Experience with and good understand of F&B POS and F&B Menu knowledge
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Food Safety : Abides by food safety requirements and ensures that others do so by monitoring FIFO inventory and visually inspecting food prep and delivery activities.
EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, minimum 1 year of experience in Food & Beverage Management in a 4-5 star hotel or independent restaurant.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
ServSafe Alcohol and / or TIPS
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Able to grasp, lift and / or carry up to 25 lbs. as needed.
- Able to work long hours plus the ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
