The Role
We are looking to add a People Operations Generalist to join our amazing team at Podium. In this role you will manage core day-to-day HR operations and compliance projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices and a passion for creating operational efficiencies.
You will play an essential role in building and driving People Ops programs and initiatives forward, while ensuring they align with business objectives.
What You Will Be Doing
- Update and maintain HR policies, programs and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Manage the onboarding process for our expanding workforce.
- Collaborate with our global HR partner to track offshore workforce.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to HR policies.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
What You Should Have
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR roles, preferably as an HR Generalist.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
