As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations within our catering staffing division.
This hands-on position requires a self-driven individual with a passion for recruitment and staff management. Responsibilities : Coordinate and manage all aspects of the staffing process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms to source, track, and communicate with candidates.
Conduct employee evaluations to assess performance and identify areas for improvement. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems.
Assist with talent management initiatives, including employee development and succession planning. Foster positive employee relations by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
Assist with scheduling and confirming staff for events, ensuring all shifts are adequately covered. Filter and relay information from clients to staff regarding day-to-day needs and requirements.
Qualifications : Proven experience as a Staffing Coordinator or in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of HR sourcing strategies and talent management practices.
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems. Strong interviewing skills to effectively assess candidate qualifications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism. Flexibility to commute between DC and VA.
Schedule flexibility is a must. Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.
