Description
PURPOSE :
Provides global Human Resources strategic support for with accountability for leading all human capital imperatives Spectrum Plastics Group to drive business value in alignment with business strategy.
In alignment with Corporate HR, works directly with global business leadership to identify and validate HR needs. Member of business / functional Leader Team.
Creates business specific HR processes to address people, organizational and cultural issues. Serves as trusted counsel to both leaders and independent contributors.

STRATEGIC BUSINESS PARTNER
- Implements the strategic direction of the business; planning and implementing HR initiatives that are aligned with business strategies.
- Provides direct consultative and strategic partnering to senior business / functional leaders to maximize performance of the organization.
Counsel to include but not be limited to matters of rewards, team dynamics, organizational development, organization design changes and cultural initiatives as needed to meet business objectives.
- Maintains awareness and knowledge of full range of contemporary HR theory and methods and provide suitable interpretation translating and converting HR concepts and theory into systems solutions for enhanced employee performance and business success.
- Identifies, articulates and translates the HR needs of the business or function to the COE, site organizations, and HR networks to deploy appropriate processes and programs in ways that bring business value.
Supports Corporate HR initiatives where there is need for focus on consistency across businesses and functions.
- Implements and enables global corporate HR initiatives that are aligned with business strategies and champions the deployment of standard HR processes across the organization.
- Understands and monitors effectiveness of HR programs through use of metrics and HR analytics in a way that drives business performance.
- Accountable for the deployment and effectiveness of all talent management and talent development processes, globally.
LEADERSHIP / MANAGEMENT / RELATIONSHIP
- Leads leaders through influence
- Provide consultative and strategic partnership to assigned grouping of business / function and ability to mobilize the regional and country based HR organization for desired execution.
- Monitors, measures and reports on client group HR plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales.
- Collaborates with COE's for maximum effectiveness of HR activities
HR PROCESS RESPONSIBLITIES : Leads global talent management and global talent development processes, including Organizational leadership reviews, identification of key talent and Strategic Workforce Planning.
- Leads implementation of engagement survey processes and action planning processes
- Leads organization design efforts as required
- Leads workforce planning and supports the talent acquisition processes including on-boarding and new employee orientation
- Ensures all HR related processes are effective and business relevant
- Partners with regional and country HR organization to ensure local compliance for people processes
POSITION DIMENSIONS :
- Primary client groups : Assigned Business / functional Global Leadership Team
- Liaison points : works closely with business leadership team, global HR team of Electronics, HR Centers of expertise and country HR organization
- Member : Electronics HRLT; Assigned business / function Leadership Team
- Reports to : VP of Human Resources
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS :
- College / University degree with at least 10+ Years of experience in Human Resources with at least 3+ years in a multinational environment
- Ability to lead cross cultures and assimilate workforces from different backgrounds
- Prior M&A experience is strongly preferred
- Solid business acumen and strategic agility and perspective.
- Ability to translate HR needs and opportunities to bottom-line performance for the organization.
- Broad experience in developing and implementing change management initiatives and creating organizational capabilities
- Ability to set priorities and provide direction through direct and influence management to a broad, global organization.
- Strong interest and capability in talent development and talent management
- Demonstrated results orientation and high level of energy / passion.
- Demonstrated ability to translate broad HR function direction into leadership initiatives in collaboration with peers and line leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt corporate HR direction to the needs of the business / function.
