The Role : Business Analyst
Location : Piscataway, NJ
Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in enhancing our project delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Agile Process Management : Drive Agile methodologies to facilitate efficient project delivery, ensuring teams adhere to Agile principles.
- Requirements Translation : Translate both business and technical requirements into actionable user stories, serving as a bridge between stakeholders and development teams.
- User Story Creation : Develop clear and concise user stories that guide projects through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Schedule and facilitate collaborative stakeholder meetings to elicit, document, and validate comprehensive business requirements and project objectives.
- Change Management Oversight : Manage change management processes for platform enhancements affecting Marketing / LOB partners and sales teams.
This includes overseeing stakeholder socialization, creating user guides, training materials, and developing new processes to support impacted users.
- Communication : Utilize strong communication skills to foster effective understanding and alignment of client needs across all levels of the organization.
- Project Progress Reporting : Design and deliver presentations that communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders and team members.
- Collaboration with Development Teams : Work closely with development teams to ensure a smooth transition from requirements gathering to implementation, addressing any issues proactively.
- Documentation Management : Manage and maintain comprehensive project documentation and timelines, ensuring all materials are up to date and accessible.
Required Skills :
- Experience : Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on writing user stories, project management, and change management.
- Salesforce CRM or Marketing Cloud : Experience with Salesforce CRM or Marketing Cloud is required. Familiarity with email marketing practices is a plus.
- Agile Methodologies : Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
- Communication Skills : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with project management tools and software; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
