Who are we looking for?
We have an exciting opportunity available for a Lead Fire Protection Engineer who will support the growth of our Fire & Life Safety (FLS) business across the Northeast region.
This position will be based in our new office in Burlington, MA !

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in :
- Developing plans to grow the FLS team in the NE and future growth in Massachusetts and surrounding states
- Identify and support business development, client expansion and proposal development activities for our Fire Protection / Life Safety business
- Leading and contributing to the preparation of proposals and bids for projects
- Providing creative solutions to fit the needs of our clients and communities
- Supporting the execution of existing FLS work
- Developing good working relationships with the Northeast Business Groups (Environmental, Water, Engineering Design)
- Assist in the recruitment of future employees
What you will bring to the team :
- Bachelor’s and or Master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or similar degree field
- Current Massachusetts Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain it
- At least 10 years of experience in the evaluation / design of Fire Protection Systems and / or Building / Fire Code Consultation
- Strong Business Development skills with an ability to maintain and build outstanding client relationship
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to develop, mentor and lead professional technical staff
- Strong project management skills; ability to lead multi-disciplinary projects on time and within budget
- Active member of relevant industry associations and communities
- Positive and motivating collaborative work style
- Ability to manage work and coordinate with multi-office teams and personnel
