Somerset County Metals distribution company is seeking a bright and energetic bookkeeper to join the team. Responsibilities include but are not limited toJob Responsibilities : *A / P & A / R Functions*Generate weekly A / P check batch*Support Accounts Receivable by corresponding with customers & maintaining invoice status *Review and verify invoices and check requests, sort, code, and match invoices*Preparation of financial statements and reports*Maintaining customer files and credit reviews*Photocopying, Scanning and Faxing as needed*Obtaining and organizing various tax and insurance records from vendors and customers*Supporting President and Controller with daily tasks and projects*Ensuring office runs smoothly and efficiently*Assisting Sales with customer inquiries *Supporting Purchasing with PO requirements and monitoring inventory levelsRequirements & Qualifications : *2 to 3 years accounting related experience required*2-year associates degree minimum, 4-year BA / BS / CPA preferred*Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)*Ability to identify, evaluate, and research problems related to the accounting functionAngela KearsleyAKearsley@Synerfac Technical StaffingPhone : 732-271-9333
