PPS is seeking a mechanically inclined individual for a fantastic opportunity as a Straighten and Cut Machine Operator at our wiring manufacturing facility in North Royalton.
This is a full-time permanent position with benefits and a high ceiling for growth!
Responsibilities :
- Obtain raw materials using tow motor
- Set up machine and materials for production
- Feed raw materials into machine
- Monitor operation and adjust machine as needed to meet customer specs
- Perform quality inspection using tape measure of finished product prior to moving to next stage in process to ensure customer's specs are being met
- Report any issues to foreman
- Clean and organize work area
- Other duties as required
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess :
- Ability to perform physical responsibilities such as lift, stand for long hours, crouch, pull / push, etc.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Previous machine operation experience
- High mechanical acumen- using hand / power tools
- Ability / previous experience using precision measurement instruments
- Basic math / calculation skills
- Previous experience using computer / keypad for data entry and machine adjustments
- Go-getter attitude and hunger for growth!
