Overview
Deutsche Bank's AFCT Team, an assurance function within Controls Testing & Assurance (CT&A), conducts testing on the design and operating effectiveness of the Firm's control framework to manage its Financial Crime Risk and adhere to applicable regulation and the Bank's policies.
AFCT also helps confirm that control gaps are adequately escalated and mitigated through remedial actions. The primary focus for this Director role will be to implement and execute the global anti-financial crime (AFC) Testing program in accordance with CT&A's Global framework in the Americas.
The position will report to the Global Head of AFCT / Deputy Global Head of Controls Testing & Assurance who is located in the UK and locally to the Americas Head of CT&A.

What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain the Americas AFC testing program to align with the global testing vision, methodology, and strategy.
- Promote proactive identification of risks, consistency, and quality in execution of the plan.
- Ensure the quality of work delivered by AFC Testing teams and timely escalation of issues encountered.
- Define a people strategy to develop, recognize, progress, and retain key staff.
- Advise team members on applicable regulatory requirements to ensure adequate testing design.
- Support the management of production of regular Management Information for the Americas Region.
How You'll Lead
- Lead and manage the operation of the AFC Testing in Jacksonville and New York.
- Act as a Key point of contact for all stakeholders.
- Develop and prepare updates and presentations to senior management and other stakeholders.
Skills You'll Need
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive experience in AFC, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Compliance Banking Regulations.
- Strong risk and control knowledge and understanding of control frameworks.
- Availability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Experience in building and managing relationships with Senior Stakeholders.
