At Trinity Solar, we are looking for a Human Resource Coordinator to work in our Wall, NJ office five days a week . This individual will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organizations human resource department.
We are searching for an organized, detail-oriented and highly motivated HR Coordinator that will aid our Human Resources department in their day-to-day tasks.
Roles & Responsibilities
Onboarding, Orientation, and Offboarding :
- Facilitate the onboarding process for NJ new hires, including processing paperwork, taking photos, enter requests for badges and equipment retrieval, entering data in the HR software, and conducting orientation classes both in-person and remote.
- Coordinate safety training schedules and assist with the preparation of onboarding materials.
- Complete I-9 verification and E-Verify documents for all NJ office employees.
Administrative Support :
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for NJ employees
- Gather fact-finding documents for investigations (as requested)
- Assist in the preparation of HR reports and presentations for weekly staff meeting reporting
- Update spreadsheets for ER investigations and other statistical data
- Handle all unemployment claims (companywide)
- Process unemployment requests for monetary information and handle UI appeals
- Respond to general ER HR inquiries and redirect and advise as necessary
- Process employee referrals
- Certification and license updates, monthly audits for NJ
- Manage employee Call-Out Hotline
Compliance and Documentation :
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures by researching current HR procedures and trends
- Ensure location postings and notices meet federal, state, and contractual requirements
- Assist in the maintenance of employee files and documentation
- Support HR audits and compliance initiatives
Employee Relations :
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries
- Create and Review employee disciplinary forms (PDF) For NJ employees and other states
- Assistance in Special Projects as needed
- Contribute to the implementation of HR initiatives and special projects
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals
- Work with other areas of discipline to provide support as needed
Required Qualifications :
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Understanding of HR Laws (FMLA, Labor Laws, Benefit Plans, etc.)
- Proficiency in Office 365, Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, etc.), Adobe Acrobat, HRIS systems.
- Highly Organized
- Exceptional Attention to Detail
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or other related fields.
Preferred but not required.
