We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist. This role is crucial for managing all facets of payroll processing and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Administration : Manage the bi-weekly payroll cycle, which includes entering data, performing calculations, and making adjustments for salaries, overtime, and deductions.
- Timekeeping Oversight : Supervise time and attendance systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Tax Compliance : Prepare and submit payroll tax returns, ensuring timely payments and adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Employee Record Maintenance : Keep precise and confidential payroll records for employees, updating information for new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.
- Reporting : Create payroll reports for management, offering insights into labor costs, benefits, and other payroll-related metrics.
- Benefits Management : Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans, ensuring accurate deductions and enrollments.
- Audit Assistance : Work with auditors during financial audits by providing necessary payroll documentation and addressing any inquiries.
- Employee Assistance : Address payroll-related questions from staff, providing timely and accurate information about pay, deductions, and benefits.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- A minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience.
- Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Excel;
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
