NorthStar Regional is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Coach to join our dynamic team. At NorthStar Regional, we are committed to empowering individuals on their pathway to recovery from substance use disorders and mental health challenges.
Our Recovery Coaches play a crucial role in providing support, guidance, and encouragement to clients as they navigate the complexities of recovery.

As a Recovery Coach, you will utilize your lived experience and professional training to inspire hope and resilience in our clients, helping them set and achieve personal goals.
You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized recovery plans that promote holistic wellness.
Your ability to empathize and connect with clients will be vital in creating a safe space where they can openly discuss their challenges and victories.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one coaching and support to individuals in recovery.
- Assist clients in setting realistic and achievable recovery goals.
- Develop personalized recovery plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Facilitate group workshops and educational sessions on recovery topics.
- Encourage clients to engage in community resources and support groups.
- Act as an advocate for clients within the healthcare and social service systems.
- Monitor client progress and provide feedback to support their ongoing recovery journey.
Requirements
- Certified Recovery Coach or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months.
- Experience in substance use or mental health recovery, either personally or professionally.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of recovery-oriented practices and resources available in the community.
- Empathy and a non-judgmental attitude towards individuals in recovery.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
