We are thrilled to be partnering with a rapidly expanding apparel firm in New York, on their search for a highly qualified CFO to join their team.

The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for managing the financial actions of the company. This includes tracking cash flow, financial planning, analyzing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses, and proposing corrective actions.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Strategy : Lead the development and execution of the company’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting : Oversee the budgeting process, including short-term and long-term forecasting.
  • Reporting & Compliance : Ensure timely and accurate financial reports, in compliance with regulatory and legal standards.

Monitor and improve the company’s financial reporting systems and processes.

Risk Management : Develop and maintain risk management strategies to safeguard the company's assets and ensure business continuity.

Identify financial risks and provide mitigations.

  • Cash Flow & Liquidity : Ensure the company maintains healthy cash flow and liquidity.
  • Team Leadership : Lead and mentor the finance team, driving performance, professional development, and fostering a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, specifically in apparel industry or a related sector.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with NetSuite required.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $250,000.00 - $275,000.00 per year
