Crestline specializes in credit and opportunistic investments, including financing and restructuring solutions for mature private equity funds. In addition, the firm manages a multi-PM equity market-neutral hedge fund, and provides beta and hedging solutions for institutional clients. The company maintains affiliate offices in New York City, London, Toronto, and Tokyo.

Crestline is seeking a highly skilled and motivated accountant to join our team. The accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting for the firm. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in accounting and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities :

• General Accounting :
• Execute day-to-day accounting tasks, including recording journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end close processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting-related inquiries and resolve issues.
• Financial Reporting Support :
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Contribute to the accuracy and completeness of financial reports.
• Regulatory Compliance :
• Support efforts to ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and reporting requirements.
• Participate in activities related to external audits and regulatory examinations.
• Internal Controls and Processes :
• Assist in maintaining internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain the integrity of financial information.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures.
• Financial Analysis Assistance :
• Provide support for financial analysis efforts, offering insights and data to assist senior management.
• Collaboration :
• Collaborate with various departments, including fund accounting, operations, and investment teams, to contribute to accurate and timely financial reporting.
