Senior Corporate Accountant

As a skilled and experienced accountant in the FleetPride (the "Company") accounting organization, the Senior Corporate Accountant will be responsible for key corporate accounting areas (e.g., fixed assets, leases, goodwill, intangibles, debt, stock-based compensation, insurance, corporate operating expense), financial statements, accounting for mergers and acquisitions, evaluating and documenting complex accounting positions, and coordination of corporate and consolidated activities with the external audit firm, and the day-to-day oversight of individuals supporting the accounting and reporting processes. This leader will be expected to be a strong presence among the accounting leadership team and to possess a continuous improvement mindset in support of the company and the accounting organization's strategic objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Execute the monthly and quarterly close process to ensure accurate and timely financial results.
• Perform recurring and non-recurring work in support of monthly accounting for corporate areas, including but not limited to, corporate SG&A, fixed assets, leases (ASC 842), goodwill, intangibles, insurance, and other areas as assigned.
• Coordinate with internal teams (FP&A, Tax, Treasury, etc.) to align reporting processes.
• Perform corporate risk accounting and reporting with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders, including brokers and actuaries, if assigned.
• Administer the Company's lease accounting and reporting solution.
